There were giant sun flares on CNN when I got up around 4 a.m. due to a nasty bout of insomnia that had started 45 minutes earlier -- kinda makes you wonder when the sun is going to burn out and also, if that's why life has been so insane lately. That, combined with the horrible oil rig burn in the Gulf of Mexico has got me thinking about solar power.
