If things can be divided into useful and non-useful, frivolous and necessary, how do you know? Who is to say whether one person's frivolously perceived action is not the most important thing they will do that day?
The overwhelming constricts time, place, expectation & reputation clearly filter perception.
Your judgements come from your experiences. Your decisions are based on incomplete and biased information no matter who you are. You cannot subsume every piece of valuable data in the universe to make the perceived choices prescribed by society and her ties that bind.
