Five star app series

First in a series of reviews from my ongoing discovery, trial, and use of a variety of applications related to my work as a producer.

Producers must multi-task, solve problems and have immediate answers.

To do that, we need invioable systems for locating reference documents (like DGA & SAG rules), scouting for shoots (maps, navigation & transportation efficiency) and creative big picture (ways that writing and visual elements interface with needs from development to physical production, staying on budget, maximizing daylight and keeping cast and crew on point).

To that end, today I continued my writing on a topic that is in the news now every day.

Producers must multi-task, solve problems and have immediate answers.

For these reasons, when I had something to write, I chose Bear, added to my narrarive and then, upon a non-aggressive request to review, I wrote this:

I added bear to augment iwriter, which is good for quick markdown notes but not formatted documents for export.

Bear is simply, great. I love the views (the dark Dracula view makes it easier for me to write because I can see the screen better), the tags are useful for sorting and finding files for editing then sharing.

It's a superb writing and creative document service and one app I don't expect to delete.

Please don't change too much but keep it fast and intuitive! Thank you developers!!!!
